Prime Minister Rossen Jeliazkov arrived in Paris at an invitation from President Emmanuel Macron to attend the Meeting on Peace and Security for Ukraine.
The meeting in Paris is attended by leaders from all Europe and international partners such as Canada and Turkey. The main purpose of the forum is to coordinate support and to discuss steps to achieve a just and lasting peace.
At the meeting, Bulgaria will reiterate its commitment to the principle that nothing concerning Ukraine’s future shall be decided without its involvement, and that Europe’s security shall not be discussed in default of the European countries’ active role. Prime Minister Rossen Jeliazkov will emphasize that guaranteed security for the Black Sea region is of key significance for the stability of the Euro-Atlantic area.
