The benefits of deeper cooperation between Bulgaria and Israel in education were the main item on the agenda of the meeting of Prime Minister Galab Donev with the Secretary General of the Teachers Union of Israel Mrs. Yaffa Ben David. Their discussion in the Prime Minister’s Office covered today’s start of an education project which is the largest ever in the history of the bilateral relations of the two countries and which will provide an opportunity to exchange experience between a significant number of Bulgarian and Israeli teachers.
Prime Minister Galab Donev vowed his support for the project and expressed his confidence that it would make a major contribution to the development of Bulgarian-Israeli relations in the field of education that are traditionally very good and fruitful. Prime Minister Galab Donev specially congratulated Mrs. Ben David on her great commitment to education issues and emphasized that for Bulgaria education policies are equally a national priority.
