The Caretaker Government is committed to the rule of law and the fight against corruption in Bulgaria and recognizes the willingness of the partner states – the USA and the United Kingdom – to offer support to that end.
The newly released facts under the Global Magnitsky Act and the UK Global Anti-Corruption Sanctions Regulations fall within the remit of the Judiciary primarily.
Both the previous caretaker government and the caretaker government now in office are seriously committed to the reform within the Judiciary and the fight against corruption in Bulgaria and will continue to work to that effect inasmuch as the prerogatives of the Executive branch of power allow.
The Caretaker Government will re-submit to Parliament the bills that concern the reform within the Judiciary and that were not passed by the 48th National Assembly.
