Prime Minister Galab Donev met with the President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani-Sadriu, who is on an official visit to Sofia. The Prime Minister and the President discussed issues of mutual interest and the potential for deeper bilateral cooperation.
The focus of the meeting in the Council of Ministers building was cooperation in the energy sector and Bulgaria's promptness to discuss specific opportunities to support the Republic of Kosovo in the electricity supplies. In the context of the current challenges facing European energy security, Prime Minister Galab Donev emphasized Bulgaria’s aspiration to deepen successful cooperation with neighboring and partner countries in the energy sector, including in the implementation of key strategic infrastructure initiatives of the EU for the diversification of energy supplies for the region.
