Cabinet decides on provision of free humanitarian aid to Türkiye and Syria

The cabinet of the Republic of Bulgaria decided to provide free humanitarian aid to the Republic of Türkiye. Following the request for international humanitarian aid by the Government of the Republic of Türkiye under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, ERCC (Emergency Response Coordination Centre) notices provide humanitarian aid as follows: Humanitarian Aid provided by the Ministry of Interior worth BGN 1,599,569.84.

 

Further, the cabinet of the Republic of Bulgaria approved a decision on the free provision of humanitarian aid to the Syrian Arab Republic. Following the request for international humanitarian aid by the Government of the Syrian Arab Republic under the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, ERCC (Emergency Response Coordination Centre) notices provide humanitarian aid as follows: Humanitarian Aid provided by the Interior Ministry’s Directorate General of Fire Safety and Population Protection and the Bulgarian Red Cross worth BGN 90,294.24. In keeping with the EU Civil Protection Mechanism that was set in motion the European Commission makes a financial commitment to the transportation costs of the free humanitarian aid.
