Petko Nikolov holds a doctorate in economics and management of intellectual property from the University of National and World Economy. He acquired two master’s degrees – in Finance from the University of Veliko Tarnovo “St. St. Cyril and Methodius” and in Law from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”. Mr. Nikolov specialised in currency, customs and tax control, as well as in criminal law sciences.
He was a member of the Sofia Bar Association and has many years of experience as a lawyer, as well as a chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Privatization Agency.
He has four years of teaching experience in the Department of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer.
Petko Nikolov was a chairman of the Commission for the Protection of Competition, of the Patent Office, and executive director of the National Company “Industrial Zones” (NCIZ).
